Working on the Site Monetization team, I took on a project to optimize our customers' post-purchase journey by implementing contextual advertising using Rokt's technology on Macy's order confirmation page.

Enhance the post-purchase experience and drive additional value for our customers and advertising partners.
By leveraging the pivotal moment of order confirmation, where engagement is high and purchase intent is validated, our goal was to deliver personalized and relevant advertisements tailored to each customer's interests. This approach not only enriches the user experience by providing valuable recommendations but also presents a lucrative opportunity for advertisers to connect with engaged shoppers in a non-intrusive manner.

We garnered 4-7% CTR across web and app, which is 10x what we see from our onsite media, meaning users are highly engaged, even post-transaction.
We achieved $2.5MM in net profit from launch to E/O FY23, with the best results from our app customers.
All while creating a memorable experience at the end of our Macy’s customers’ shopping journey 🪩🕺
